Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Team Member to join our team at SUBWAY Restaurant. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a clean and safe dining environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, and surfaces to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
    • Ensure that all food preparation areas are clean and organized.
  • Food Preparation
    • Prepare and cook food to order, following SUBWAY's quality and safety standards.
    • Operate kitchen equipment, such as ovens, grills, and fryers, to prepare food items.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
    • Take customer orders and operate the point-of-sale system to process transactions.
  • Inventory Management
    • Receive and store inventory, including food, beverages, and supplies.
    • Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies to management.
  • Teamwork
    • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.
    • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Education
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience
    • Previous experience in a food service or customer service role is an asset.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
    • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
