About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Cook to join our team at Denny's Restaurants. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes to order, ensuring that all food is of the highest quality and presented in a visually appealing manner.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and train kitchen staff and helpers, ensuring that they are aware of all kitchen procedures and protocols.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that all stock is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that all customers receive a high level of service and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant.
  • Urban Area: Yes.
