About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Supervisor to join our team at Jagdish Gill & Paramjit Gill. As a key member of our agricultural operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our farm workers and ensuring the efficient production of high-quality crops.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Crop Production: Supervise and coordinate the work of farm workers to ensure the timely and effective production of crops, including plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, and harvesting.
  • Lead Farm Operations: Coordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting laborers, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Oversee Crop-Related Operations: Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations, including the maintenance of farm equipment and machinery.
  • Recruit and Train Staff: Hire and train staff to ensure that our farm operations are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Maintain Farm Equipment: Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment to ensure that they are in good working condition.
  • Perform General Farm Duties: Perform general farm duties as required, including working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing circumstances.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a farm supervisory role
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week
