We're seeking a talented Data Engineering Manager to lead our Data Engineering and Integration Team. As a key member of our organization, you'll have the opportunity to shape our data strategy and contribute to our growth.

About the Role:

As a Data Engineering Manager, you'll be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of Data Engineers to design, develop, and implement data solutions
  • Fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment
  • Developing training plans for technical advancement
  • Participating in hiring, onboarding, and training of new employees
  • Conducting performance evaluations and providing regular feedback
  • Effectively communicating with business users to elicit requirements for BI projects
  • Researching and applying effective methods for data mining, data cleansing, and information analysis
  • Developing and executing comprehensive project plans

What We're Looking For:

We're seeking a candidate with:

  • BA/BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Math, or Physics
  • Proven ability to lead and provide technical direction to a team
  • Experience mentoring co-op students and recent graduates
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve complex technical issues
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate responsibilities
  • Ability to lead and inspire a team, cultivating a culture of innovation and high performance
