About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our Agile team, where you will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust data pipelines and data management systems. As a key member of our team, you will partner closely with data science and business intelligence teams to understand business needs and co-create solutions that drive business value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain complex data pipelines and data management systems to ensure high-quality, accurate, and available data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in data engineering tools and concepts, including data warehousing, ETL, and data governance.
  • Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions to the team.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, with a strong background in data engineering tools and concepts.
  • Proficiency in Python, with experience in Pandas and other data manipulation libraries.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies, including GitLab, branches, code reviews, and merge requests.
  • Understanding of DataOps practices and experience with data warehousing, ETL, and data governance.
  • Experience with RDBMS/NoSQL databases and cloud data platforms, such as AWS and Snowflake.
  • Docker experience and knowledge of containerization.
