Key Responsibilities- Drive automation initiatives, pinpoint growth opportunities, and establish a center of expertise focused on Digital and Client data.

- Offer consulting services for new projects, ranging from small to large scale and varying complexities.

- Oversee a team of Data Engineers tasked with constructing and sustaining data models and reporting mechanisms, with varying deployment timelines based on product, systems, location, or partner relationships.
- Support and advocate for the development and execution of RBC Insurance's Data Strategy.
- Establish direction and methodology for the Data Engineering - Digital and Client team.
- Provide leadership, regular coaching (both formal and informal), and documented performance management, contributing to talent management and personal development planning.
Essential Qualifications:
- 5 to 10 years of substantial experience with large relational databases and handling extensive data volumes in various formats.
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field that enhances data analytics and reporting skills.
- Proficient in automation and data modeling techniques.
- Expertise in SQL and Python programming, showcasing advanced querying and data mining skills.
- Experience in Talent Management processes, including recruitment, performance management, and development coaching.
- Knowledge of various testing tools, design methodologies, risk assessment, and quantification techniques.
- Familiarity with different programming languages, multiple platforms, IT standards, methodologies, audit requirements, and middleware technologies.
