We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Fionn Maccool's Bovaird. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the needs of our customers.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure they are clean and well-maintained.
- Staff Training: Train kitchen staff and helpers in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Cleanliness and Safety: Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
As a Line Cook at Fionn Maccool's Bovaird, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on attention to detail and physical demands. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work under pressure to meet the needs of our customers.
