- Food Safety and Handling: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that all food safety and handling procedures are being followed.
- Staff Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, as well as maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that all stock is ordered and received in a timely manner.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas, including equipment and utensils, to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Teamwork and Communication: Work effectively as part of a team, communicating with colleagues and management to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a kitchen environment.
- Skills: Attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and ability to stand for extended periods.
