The Role

The Marketing Automation Expert will oversee the efficient utilization of Salesforce and Pardot to implement comprehensive marketing initiatives, ensuring smooth system integration for targeted outreach, optimized lead nurturing, and the ongoing improvement of marketing strategies through actionable insights.

The primary objectives include executing and refining marketing automation strategies to enhance engagement and conversion through email campaigns and lead nurturing programs. Furthermore, this role involves maintaining data integrity and compliance with regulatory standards while managing CRM databases and marketing automation platforms. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to align marketing efforts with business goals, ultimately improving overall campaign performance and contributing to increased Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR).

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and enhance marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Pardot) to implement marketing campaigns including email, lead nurturing, and scoring initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain integrations between marketing automation and CRM systems (ChiliPiper, Pardot, Salesforce) to ensure seamless data flow and accuracy.
  • Design and execute email marketing campaigns, including template creation, calls-to-action, and assistance in content development.
  • Segment and manage contact lists and databases for targeted marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Sales, and Business Systems to ensure alignment on marketing automation processes and objectives.
  • Provide reporting and insights on key marketing metrics, such as lead generation, conversion rates, website traffic, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in marketing automation and operations.
  • Work closely with the Event Marketing Team to assist in promoting events, uploading attendee information, and conducting post-event follow-ups.
  • Manage the import of third-party data into CRM and marketing automation systems, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with data privacy regulations.
  • Deliver campaign briefs to the Sales and Marketing teams, ensuring they are equipped to follow up on Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) with relevant information.

Desired Skills, Education & Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Marketing Operations, preferably in a SaaS or Enterprise software environment for a B2B high-tech organization.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with Pardot and Salesforce.
  • Experience with other enterprise-level marketing automation tools (Marketo, Hubspot) will be considered.
  • Strong analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven problem-solving skills with a track record of driving results effectively.
  • Self-motivated with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Capability to organize and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
