About the Role

Sage Recruiting Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team as a Market Making Expert. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and scaling an automated market-making system that can handle substantial trading volumes across various exchanges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop a high-performance market-making system capable of handling hundreds of millions in daily trading volume.
  • Develop robust algorithms for market making between futures on CME and Bitfinex, focusing on Bitcoin, Gold, and other traditional assets.
  • Ensure the system runs continuously and efficiently, meeting high availability and performance requirements.
  • Collaborate with the trading team to understand trading strategies and integrate them into the market-making system.
  • Manage risk and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Familiar with basis trading and have the ability to manage positions, including calendar futures and Rollovers.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in building and scaling market-making systems.
  • Strong programming skills in one or more languages.
  • Deep understanding of trading strategies, market microstructure, and financial instruments.
  • Experience with high-frequency trading and low-latency systems.
  • Ability to manage and optimize large-scale, high-throughput trading systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience with web technologies (JavaScript, React, etc.).
  • Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS).
  • Open-mindedness and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies.
