Job Summary:
The Kitter and Assembler will perform various production and assembly duties throughout the department, reporting to the Supervisor, Kitting/Assembly. This role requires a strong work ethic, excellent time management skills, commitment to safety, and a positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stock work stations with necessary materials and supplies
- Review work orders to ensure accurate completion
- Report material shortages to the production team
- Mark, record, and report defects to ensure quality control
- Operate measuring instruments to ensure accurate measurements
- Read assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists to prepare for work
- Assemble parts and components together using hand and power tools
- Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements
- Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit and fastening parts and subassemblies
- Perform other kitting and assembly duties as required
Requirements:
- Grade 12 Diploma or GED equivalency
- Combinations of education and experience may also be considered
