Assembly Technician, Kitting and Production

Job Summary:
The Kitter and Assembler will perform various production and assembly duties throughout the department, reporting to the Supervisor, Kitting/Assembly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stock work stations with necessary materials and supplies.
- Review work orders to ensure accurate completion of tasks.
- Report material shortages to the supervisor to prevent delays.
- Identify and mark defects, recording and reporting them to the team.
- Operate measuring instruments to ensure accurate assembly.
- Read assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists to prepare for work.
- Assemble parts and components using hand and power tools.
- Position parts and subassemblies using templates or measurements.
- Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit and fastening parts and subassemblies.
- Perform other kitting and assembly duties as required.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 Diploma or GED equivalency.
- Combinations of education and experience may also be considered.
The successful applicant must have a superior work ethic, excellent time management skills, commitment to safety, and a positive attitude. The work environment will include working alone or as part of a team and following safe work practices.
