Role Summary
As a Teaching and Learning Assistant, you will work closely with the Manager, Quality Assurance, supporting the Office of the Vice-Provost (Teaching and Learning). Your responsibilities will encompass administrative tasks, ensuring a thorough understanding of Senate protocols and Queen's University Quality Assurance Processes. You will collaborate with various committees and groups, contributing to the management of website content related to teaching and learning initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Office of the Vice-Provost (Teaching and Learning).
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Senate protocols and Queen's University Quality Assurance Processes.
- Collaborate effectively with committees and groups involved in teaching and learning initiatives.
- Contribute to the management and upkeep of website content related to teaching and learning programs.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary education combined with relevant experience in a professional office setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and WebPublish, including experience in spreadsheet and database management.
- Familiarity with university structures, academic programs, and teaching and learning concepts is advantageous.
- Demonstrated skills in project management, organization, time management, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, adhere to protocols, and integrate diverse principles into daily operations.
- Strong decision-making capabilities to handle inquiries, offer recommendations, and support the Vice-Provost in optimizing processes.
