Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Service Receptionist/Appointment Coordinator to join our team at Yellowknife Motors. As a key member of our Service Department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, coordinating appointments, and ensuring a seamless experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer all incoming phone calls and respond to customer inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Book Service Appointments and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist Management with administrative tasks and provide support as needed.
  • Oversee all Appointments and consult with Management regarding any discrepancies.
  • Ensure customer mobility when appointments are booked and arrange for shuttle or loaner vehicle as necessary.
  • Balance cash at the end of the day and handle customer inquiries.
  • Follow up with customers regarding Special Ordered Parts and review files to ensure accuracy.
  • Assist customers with vehicle pickup and accept payment as necessary.
  • Greet customers when Service Consultants are not available and maintain a tidy refreshment area.
  • Report any safety, welfare, or integrity concerns to Management.

Requirements:

  • Excellent oral communication skills and previous experience in a customer service role.
  • Enthusiastic and outgoing personality with ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information, with professional appearance and friendly disposition.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Strong attention to detail, with ability to work with minimum supervision and maintain a results-focused approach.

Wage Rate: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour depending on experience.
