Service Coordinator

The Kenan Advantage Group Inc., (KAG), is a leading tank truck transporter and logistics provider in North America. We are seeking a skilled Service Planner to join our team in Yellowknife, Canada. As a Service Planner, you will be responsible for the daily operation within the Fleet Services function of our Yellowknife Terminal. Your primary objective will be to deliver on your objectives while supporting the Terminal in achieving necessary results. The successful applicant should possess mechanical knowledge of highway tractors and trailers. Key responsibilities include planning, organizing, and scheduling all aspects of maintenance, including regular preventative maintenance. You will also be responsible for coordinating calls, emails, scheduling planner, manager the PO system, and track and manage costs. Additionally, you will regularly audit partner vendor quotes, and completed repairs to ensure quality maintenance that is consistent and aligned with our company standards. You will be aware and responsible for ensuring Health and Safety standards are adhered to in order to maintain a safe and productive workplace. You will also be responsible for communicating and coordinating with Operations and customers for any equipment repairs. Furthermore, you will be involved in maintenance and general up-keep of the facilities and applicable properties. We are looking for a highly energetic person with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You should have a basic understanding of standard repair times within the maintenance industry. You should be well organized, detail oriented, enthusiastic, and confident with a roll up your sleeves attitude towards work. You should also have the ability to maintain a professional and respectful composure in challenging situations. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to clearly communicate are essential. A good understanding of Microsoft Office products is also required.
