The Kenan Advantage Group Inc., (KAG), is a leading tank truck transporter and logistics provider in North America, delivering energy commodities, specialty products, merchant gases, and food products across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

As a Shop Planner at KAG Canada, you will play a critical role in the daily operation of our Yellowknife Terminal. In this position, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and scheduling all aspects of maintenance, including regular preventative maintenance.

About the Role:

  • Coordinate maintenance activities, including scheduling and tracking of maintenance tasks.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure quality maintenance that meets company standards.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety standards and maintain a safe and productive workplace.
  • Communicate with Operations and customers regarding equipment repairs and maintenance.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and upkeep of facilities and properties.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance maintenance efficiency.

What We're Looking For:

  • 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Basic understanding of maintenance programs and standard repair times.
  • Ability to maintain a professional and respectful composure in challenging situations.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to clearly communicate with customers and stakeholders.
