Retail Store Manager

Showcase is seeking a dynamic and experienced retail professional to join our team as a Store Manager in Training. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for helping to lead our store in Woodgrove Centre and contributing to the success of our national retailer with 150 bricks-and-mortar stores in top malls throughout Canada and the USA.
About Showcase
Showcase is a trendy and disruptive retailer with novel and unique products. Our stores offer emerging trendy products from social media, such as health, beauty, home, toys, tech, and novelty food. Our top products include Pokemon trading cards, Squishmallows, freeze-dried candy, Prime Hydration drinks, and more. Our target demographic is Gen Z tweens and teens, as well as their parents.
Responsibilities
As a Store Manager in Training, you will be responsible for assisting in managing day-to-day store operations, achieving sales targets, and creating a positive and engaging environment for both customers and associates. You will also be responsible for analyzing sales and financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, developing and executing strategies to drive traffic and sales, and ensuring that the store is visually appealing and merchandised to showcase our products effectively.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need at least 2 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a high-volume, fast-paced retail environment. You will also need a proven track record of achieving sales targets and maximizing profitability, strong leadership and team-building skills, excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
