Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at Uplands Convenience Store. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management
- Supervise and motivate a team of sales staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve store performance, including sales growth, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.
- Store Operations
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, including inventory management, stock control, and cash handling.
- Ensure that the store is clean, well-maintained, and meets health and safety standards.
- Customer Service
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving any issues promptly.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare and submit regular reports on store performance, including sales data, customer feedback, and employee performance.
- Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role
- Proven track record of achieving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction
- Skills
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
