About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at SUBWAY RESTAURANT. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurant, including supervising and coordinating the activities of our food service staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Oversee the preparation and portioning of food, train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to meet business needs, including hiring and training new staff members as required.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Estimate ingredient and supply requirements, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns, and ensure that all customers receive excellent service.
  • Financial Management: Prepare budgets and cost estimates, and manage the financial aspects of the restaurant.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, and physically demanding.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
