Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at SUBWAY RESTAURANT. As a key member of our restaurant team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet customer demands.
    • Train and develop staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, adhering to health and safety regulations.
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory levels.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth and improvement.
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates, ensuring that financial resources are allocated effectively.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
  • Work Setting
    • Restaurant environment with fast-paced and dynamic conditions.
  • Physical Demands
    • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
    • Ability to lift, bend, and move equipment as required.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
    • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
