About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at SUBWAY RESTAURANT. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food service staff, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting our high standards.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food and service meet our quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, preparing and submitting reports as required.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that our customers receive excellent service.
  • Team Management: Hire, train, and develop our food service staff, providing opportunities for growth and development.
  • Operations Management: Establish methods to meet work schedules, prepare budget and cost estimates, and ensure that our operations are running efficiently.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, working under pressure with tight deadlines.
  • Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and physically demanding work.
