Position Overview

The role of the Office Administration Clerk at BODEL AUTO DIRECT INC involves providing essential administrative support in a dynamic work environment. This is a temporary position requiring a commitment of 30 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communication: Manage and direct telephone and electronic inquiries efficiently.
  • Mail Management: Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence both manually and electronically.
  • Data Management: Perform data entry tasks and maintain accurate records.
  • Financial Tasks: Assist with basic bookkeeping, including preparing invoices and managing bank deposits.
  • Office Organization: Schedule and organize office activities, ensuring a smooth workflow.
  • Inventory Control: Order and manage office supplies, maintaining adequate inventory levels.
  • Customer Service: Provide general information and assistance to clients and the public.
Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 months experience in a similar role or equivalent experience.
Technical Skills

Proficiency in various software applications is essential, including:

  • MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook)
  • Accounting software (QuickBooks, Simply Accounting)
  • Adobe Suite (Photoshop, etc.)
  • Electronic scheduling tools
Work Environment

This position is based in an office setting, with potential exposure to a warehouse environment. Candidates should be prepared for a fast-paced atmosphere and the ability to manage repetitive tasks.
