Position Overview: The Community Team Manager oversees the daily clinical and operational management of the Community Brain Injury Services (CBIS) delivered by a multidisciplinary team. Reporting to the Program Administrative Director, this role ensures high standards of care and rehabilitation for clients and their families. The manager utilizes clinical expertise, knowledge, and leadership capabilities to enhance quality care, operational planning, and effective resource management.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Facilitates the collaboration of the inter-professional team.
  2. Leads the recruitment process for CBIS staff, coordinating with Human Resources for hiring and orientation.
  3. Establishes an accountability framework that sets clear expectations and collaborative goals for program staff.
  4. Encourages teamwork among program staff and fosters relationships with corporate departments and community agencies.
  5. Supports the development and execution of strategic initiatives for RCBIS, including creating business cases and proposals for program enhancements.
  6. Maintains and develops partnerships with ABI providers in the region and across the province.
  7. Organizes forums for service providers to discuss innovative solutions to systemic challenges in ABI services.
  8. Manages operational and staff budgets, conducts variance analysis, and recommends necessary actions and recovery plans.
