Position Overview:
The Transportation & Distribution Coordinator plays a crucial role in overseeing the logistics operations managed by third-party logistics providers (3PL). This position involves meticulous planning and execution of storage capacity, unloading processes, order preparation, and local distribution. The coordinator is also responsible for managing product reconditioning, reverse logistics, and ensuring compliance with the monthly budget for customer service and logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with 3PL to ensure daily operational resources are effectively utilized for unloading and order assembly.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of 3PL partners, ensuring adherence to key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Analyze pre-delivery reports to confirm the availability of products required for sales, ensuring optimal service levels.
  • Coordinate unloading schedules with transport providers to ensure timely operations.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Conduct audits and validate cyclical inventory programs.
    • Prepare necessary documentation in SAP for inventory discrepancies.
    • Oversee the monthly destruction process of obsolete products.
    • Coordinate comprehensive inventory activities with 3PL in alignment with financial schedules.
  • Engage in warehouse recycling initiatives, managing the return of materials to designated locations.
  • Co-Packing Activities:
    • Ensure the availability of materials for product assembly.
    • Review and supervise the execution of co-packing plans.
    • Monitor compliance with weekly assembly schedules.
  • Local Dispatch Coordination:
    • Guarantee the availability of transport for local deliveries, ensuring timely order fulfillment.
    • Verify the proof of delivery (POD) process within the system.
    • Assist 3PL in resolving billing issues and facilitate communication with SAP.
    • Ensure compliance with the company's invoicing policies.
  • Manage the assembly of samples and donations, ensuring accurate accounting and cost center usage.
  • Oversee the administration of rented pallets and ensure adherence to company policies.
  • Support the implementation of digital initiatives aimed at optimizing logistics operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, manufacturing, or customer service.
  • Proficiency in English, with advanced communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, supply chain processes, and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with SAP and G-suite tools is advantageous.
