Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Trillium Recycling Inc. as a Logistics Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently, while ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to safety protocols and company guidelines.
  • Route Planning: Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment and GPS devices to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Documentation: Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes, and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements
  • AZ class license
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Will train
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work a regular schedule, with 30 to 44 hours per week, and will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines.

The language of work is English.
