Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Trillium Recycling Inc. as a key member of our logistics operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Route Planning and Execution

Plan and adjust routes to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions, utilizing computer equipment, GPS systems, and other navigation devices.

Customer Service

Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Vehicle Maintenance

Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Documentation and Record-Keeping

Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, as well as obtain special permits and documents required for international routes.

Communication and Teamwork

Relay information to central dispatch, work collaboratively with other team members, and maintain open communication channels to ensure seamless logistics operations.

Requirements
  • AZ class license
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Working Conditions
  • 30 to 44 hours per week
  • Permanent full-time position
  • Work language: English
