Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Trillium Recycling Inc. as a key member of our logistics operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various routes, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Route Planning and Execution: Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions, utilizing computer equipment, GPS systems, and other navigation devices to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment, to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, as well as obtain necessary permits and documents for international routes.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Collaborate with central dispatch and other team members to ensure seamless communication and coordination of logistics operations.
Requirements
  • AZ class license
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Team player with excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Will train
Working Conditions
  • 30 to 44 hours per week
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
