Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, architect, and implement cloud-native solutions utilizing services such as Kubernetes, AppEngine, Cloud Functions, CloudSql, BigQuery, and Pub/Sub on platforms like Google Cloud and Azure.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in a specific business domain or toolset, engage with code, propose innovative ideas to leadership, and disseminate knowledge throughout the team and organization.
  • Identify process inefficiencies, propose inventive solutions, and pursue continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code, conduct code reviews, automate CI/CD workflows, and streamline operational requirements.
  • Create custom instrumentation for observability using OpenTelemetry and anomaly detection techniques.
  • Guide and mentor team members, contributing to the evolution of the SRE discipline.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in software engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline.
  • A strong enthusiasm for diagnosing technical challenges and automating solutions.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Go.
  • Experience with cloud-native environments.
  • A sense of ownership and a drive to build innovative solutions from the ground up.
