Business Collections Specialist

As a Collections Analyst at Corcentric, you will be responsible for managing a large portfolio of accounts, handling customer requests, and conducting credit reviews. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Initiating collection calls to business accounts to resolve billing issues and negotiate payment arrangements.
- Researching and resolving client billing problems, identifying root causes of account delinquency, and reviewing and monitoring assigned accounts and collection reports.
- Preparing reports for management, providing timely follow-up on payment arrangements and customer requests, and making recommendations to management regarding customer credit limits.
- Maintaining and documenting customer communications, researching and resolving customer deductions, and reviewing credit limits for new and existing accounts.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Fluency in both English and French, both written and verbal.
- Relevant experience in a commercial, business-to-business (B2B) collections role.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and multi-tasking capabilities.
- The ability to analyze financial statements and proficiency with Microsoft Excel at an intermediate level or above.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a service-oriented mindset.
While not required, experience with Dynamics 365 software and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline would be beneficial in this role.
