As a Collections Analyst at Corcentric

You will be part of a dynamic team within a global organization that is ambitious and entrepreneurial. Your responsibilities will include managing a large collections portfolio, handling customer requests, and conducting credit reviews.

This key position reports to the Collections Manager within our Credit, Collections, & Disputes team. We are a dedicated and down-to-earth group in a growing organization that offers plenty of opportunities for growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Initiate collection calls to business accounts and resolve client billing problems
  • Research and identify root causes contributing to account delinquency
  • Review and monitor assigned accounts and all applicable collection reports
  • Prepare reports for management and provide timely follow-up on payment arrangements and customer requests
  • Make recommendations to management regarding whether customers should be placed on hold or sent to collections
  • Research and resolve customer deductions and maintain and document customer communications
  • Review credit limits for new and existing accounts
Requirements:
  • Fluency in both English and French, both written and verbal
  • Relevant experience in a commercial, business-to-business (B2B) collections role
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and multi-tasking capabilities
  • The ability to analyze financial statements and proficiency with Microsoft Excel at an intermediate level or above
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a service-oriented mindset
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 software
