Petro Pass Retail Store Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Petro Pass. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of sales associates to provide exceptional customer service and drive sales.
  • Authorize Payments: Verify and authorize payments by cheque, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Order Merchandise: Coordinate the ordering and receipt of merchandise, ensuring stock levels are maintained and inventory is accurately tracked.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and optimal store operations.
  • Sell Merchandise: Provide excellent customer service, promoting and selling merchandise to drive sales growth.
  • Prepare Reports: Analyze sales data and prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
  • Organize Inventory: Maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring stock is organized and easily accessible.
  • Supervise Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales associates, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Manage Cash: Verify and manage cash handling procedures, ensuring accurate and secure processing.
  • Conduct Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews with sales associates, providing feedback and coaching to drive performance improvement.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment with attention to detail required.
  • Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills and a team player attitude.
