About the Role

Skyworks is a leading innovator of high-performance analog semiconductors, driving the wireless networking revolution. As a Director of Applications Engineering, you will be part of a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on global collaboration, minimal layers of management, and the freedom to make meaningful contributions in a setting that encourages creative thinking.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a global product team of applications engineers supporting the design, adoption, and customer support of Skyworks' best-in-class Connectivity solutions.
  • Develop and implement technical strategies to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, System Engineering, Program Management, Product/Test Engineering, and Product Line Management.
  • Provide technical leadership and direction to customers, ensuring their designs meet Skyworks' standards.
  • Support the development of digital predistortion, RF test equipment, RF PCB design, RF test, and troubleshooting of RF circuits and RF systems analysis.
  • Communicate progress to Senior Management and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Requirements
  • BSEE + 15 years relevant technical experience or MSEE (preferred) + 12 years.
  • Strong data analysis skills.
  • Experience in Front End or Module level development.
  • Experience in team management.
  • Up to 25% travel (domestic & international).
