Skyworks is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Applications Engineering to lead our global product team in the design, adoption, and customer support of our best-in-class Connectivity solutions. As a key member of our Diversified Analog Solutions Business unit, you will be responsible for driving innovation and excellence in our RF and WLAN products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a global product team of applications engineers to optimize customer reference designs and provide direction to our customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, System Engineering, Program Management, Product/Test Engineering, and Product Line Management, to drive fast decision making and best practices sharing.
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure excellent internal and external customer support, including resource allocation and tracking.
  • Recruit, interview, and hire top-notch talent to join our team.
  • Provide regular updates to Senior Management on progress toward meeting our goals.

Requirements

  • BSEE + 15 years relevant technical experience or MSEE (preferred) + 12 years.
  • 6+ years' leadership experience.
  • Strong background in fundamental RF and systems design.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong data analysis skills.
  • Experience in Front End or Module level development.
  • Experience leading multidiscipline teams and working across boundaries.
  • Experience in team management.
  • Up to 25% travel (domestic & international).
