Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Applications Engineering to lead our global product team of applications engineers. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the design, adoption, and customer support of our best-in-class Connectivity solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a global product team of applications engineers to optimize customer reference designs and provide direction to customers.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including Marketing, System Engineering, Program Management, Product/Test Engineering, and Product Line Management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with external partners to support, optimize, and enable total radio solutions.
  • Manage resource allocation and tracking to ensure excellent internal and external customer support.
  • Ensure new team members are properly trained and mentored, and all team members are developing to their full potential.
  • Participate in the recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and on-boarding activities of top-notch talent.
  • Provide regular updates to Senior Management on progress toward meeting our goals.
Requirements
  • BSEE + 15 years relevant technical experience or MSEE (preferred) + 12 years.
  • 6+ years' leadership experience.
  • Strong background in fundamental RF and systems design.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong data analysis skills.
  • Experience in Front End or Module level development.
  • Experience leading multidiscipline teams and working across boundaries.
  • Experience in team management.
  • Up to 25% travel (domestic & international).
