Job Title: Chef de Partie

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our team at Wild Blue Restaurant and Bar. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
  • Supervise and train specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen staff to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events, such as banquets, and ensure exceptional presentation and quality.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and ensure adherence to food safety and handling procedures.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or hotel.
  • Proven track record of maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to train and motivate staff.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and handling procedures, and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and high pressure.
