**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide ongoing development and growth opportunities for direct and indirect reports.

  • Lead construction innovation projects and best practices sessions.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our market presence and drive revenue growth.
  • Act as a change agent and lead the implementation of changes across the company.
  • Participate in corporate initiatives, providing input and assisting with implementation while acting as an ambassador for the company decisions and programs.
  • Enhance an ongoing health and safety culture, well-being, and practices.
  • Lead resolution of complex staff and employee relations issues.
  • Demonstrate behaviors that foster Tomlinson's Leadership Competencies: Effectively Communicates Maintains Strategic Perspective Motivates and Empowers Organizationally Agile Decisive.

**Additional Responsibilities:**

  • Facilitates meetings, reviews important correspondence and submissions prior to sending.
  • Focusing on continued personal development.
  • Engage with industry-specific boards and committees to stay updated on industry trends and foster key relationships.
  • Relationship management: Develops relationships with new customers. Maintains positive structured and strategic customer relationships with existing customer base. Builds and maintains relationships with key industry leaders.
  • Mentor and develop direct reports, contributing to their professional growth and success.
  • Collaborate with industry leaders, customers, and stakeholders to drive business and revenue growth across all lines of business.

**Reports:**

  • Direct - Construction Managers
  • Indirect – business units or project groups that are supporting strategic initiatives and leadership development actions

**Qualifications:**

  • CET, Bachelor of Civil Engineering or an additional 5 years of civil construction experience.
  • 8+ years of demonstrated accountability, effective people management experience, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

**Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:**

  • Working conditions are standard for a construction industry environment and includes an indoor office environment as well as time spent on job sites.
  • Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
  • Requirement to attend industry events after working hours and on weekends.
