We are seeking a Senior Risk Control Advisor to enhance our team.

In this role, you will oversee all initiatives related to fire safety, risk engineering, and risk management.

Responsibilities of the Risk Control Advisor:

Perform site evaluations at client locations (covering property, general and product liability, and fleet). Generate risk analysis reports (including underwriting documentation for the insurance sector, risk evaluations, and recommendation reports). Conduct loss estimation calculations (PML, MFL, NLE, etc.). Assist brokers during the placement process by supplying insights on risk exposures and insurer requirements. Advise clients on risk exposures and mitigation strategies. Develop and implement risk control initiatives for major clients. Analyze and prioritize recommendations from insurers. Contribute to research and development on technical matters and considerations. Support the building valuation process. Aid in enhancing building structures. Review and assist clients with the design of fire protection systems and building mechanics. Revise hydraulic plans and calculations according to relevant standards. Provide specialized expertise in fire protection and generate reports. Continuously develop your skills in risk assessment and management: prepare underwriting reports for the insurance sector, conduct risk evaluations, and provide recommendations, assist brokers with investment processes by sharing insights on risk exposures and insurer criteria, advise clients on risk management and control measures, and support loss estimation calculations.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Proven experience in risk management with a broker, insurer, or within a large organization. Background in site inspections, risk management, and/or fire safety. Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering; diploma in fire protection, applied sciences, or related fields. Strong understanding of occupational health and safety regulations. Familiarity with NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) and FM (Factory Mutual) standards. Knowledge of building construction, relevant codes, and building mechanics. Proficiency in hydraulic calculation software (such as HydraCalc or similar). Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Proficient in the MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word). Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Effective time management and organizational skills.
