As a Retail Operations Assistant Manager, you will work closely with the Store Manager to cultivate a team-oriented atmosphere that promotes inclusivity and strong relationships. Your role will be pivotal in driving the store's success by guiding the team towards achieving sales and profitability targets, overseeing recruitment, performance management, training, and professional development. Your adaptability to various situations, environments, and challenges will be essential for your success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the store meets company objectives and key performance indicators.
  • Provide leadership by balancing company policies, loss prevention strategies, payroll management, reporting, and scheduling.
  • Assist in recruiting, managing, developing, and training a talented team focused on sales and customer service.
  • Implement merchandising strategies while maintaining a clean, consistent, and inviting store environment that encourages customer engagement.
  • Maintain effective communication with the Store Manager and District Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience in a customer-focused environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams to achieve strong sales results.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent; post-secondary education is an asset.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
