Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

Ultramar Gas Station is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our store, including supervising sales floor staff, managing inventory, and maintaining a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities of Workers: Lead and motivate a team of sales floor staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Ensure that sales floor staff are assigned to tasks that align with their skills and abilities, and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Hire and Train or Arrange for Training of Staff: Recruit, train, and develop sales floor staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Authorize Return of Merchandise: Process returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Sell Merchandise: Provide excellent customer service and promote sales of merchandise to achieve sales targets.
  • Prepare Reports on Sales Volumes, Merchandising and Personnel Matters: Analyze sales data and provide insights to inform business decisions.
  • Resolve Issues that May Arise: Address customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Organize and Maintain Inventory: Ensure that inventory is accurately counted and recorded, and that stock levels are maintained to meet customer demand.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, excellent oral communication, organized, reliability, team player, and dependability.
