Position Overview

Uppal Building Supplies Ltd is seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and supporting various administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Coordination: Organize and manage seminars, conferences, and other corporate events.
  • Information Management: Facilitate communication within the team and ensure the efficient flow of information.
  • Mail Handling: Open, sort, and distribute incoming mail and materials.
  • Meeting Documentation: Record and prepare minutes for meetings, seminars, and conferences.
  • Office Procedures: Establish and maintain effective office procedures and routines.
  • Appointment Scheduling: Schedule and confirm appointments for team members.
  • Telephone Management: Answer and relay telephone calls and messages promptly.
  • Electronic Communication: Respond to electronic inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Data Compilation: Gather and compile data, statistics, and other relevant information.
  • Inventory Management: Order office supplies and maintain inventory levels.
  • Travel Arrangements: Organize travel itineraries and make necessary reservations.
  • Reception Duties: Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate contacts or service areas.
  • Filing Systems: Set up and maintain both manual and computerized filing systems for information management.
  • Document Preparation: Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents.
Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year in a similar role.
  • Employment Type: Permanent position.
  • Language Requirement: Proficiency in English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
