Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to join our team at Circle K. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of retail professionals to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Directly supervise and manage a team of retail employees, including Assistant Managers, Lead Representatives, and Customer Service Representatives.
  • Recruitment and Training: Recruit, hire, and train new employees to ensure a positive and enthusiastic team.
  • Store Operations: Develop and implement strategies to maintain a clean, well-stocked, and organized store environment.
  • Customer Service: Foster a culture of excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Financial Management: Analyze sales and expense information to maximize sales and net profits.
  • Inventory Management: Manage and supervise the receipt, storage, and sale of merchandise.
  • Employee Development: Provide regular performance appraisals, training, and coaching to employees to ensure they meet company standards.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication with employees, customers, and suppliers.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent plus 1-2 years of retail work experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
  • Skills: Ability to supervise and train employees, manage store operations, analyze sales and expense information, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Certifications: Food Server certificate (ServSafe) and Food Safety Management certification may be required.
Work Environment

  • Work requires 40 hours per week and can include hours on all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Perform approximately 95% of all work indoors, but will be required to clean parking lots, gas pumps, take out garbage, etc.
  • Exposure to extreme cold temperatures while performing occasional work in a walk-in cooler and/or freezer.
  • Exposure to occasional noise.
