Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at MACEWEN WELLINGTON (21725). As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales floor staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
- Store Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and store maintenance.
- Sales and Customer Service: Drive sales growth by implementing effective sales strategies, providing excellent customer service, and resolving customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Team Development: Hire, train, and develop sales floor staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze sales reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement to inform business decisions.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of retail management experience
- Work Setting: Retail business
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, organized, reliability, team player
