Position Title: Store Operations Manager

Employment Type: Full-time

A Store Operations Manager is dedicated to motivating our team while ensuring our Customers achieve success and fostering business growth with integrity.

This advanced-level sales and management role supports various functions across the business spectrum.

The position necessitates a comprehensive understanding of store operations, automotive systems, and product knowledge, with the capability to identify, troubleshoot, and assist with DIY projects.

The typical schedule consists of 5-6 days per week, with 11-hour shifts, including rotating nights and weekends, along with an hour allocated for lunch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and enhance Professional Customer relationships and sales, ensuring the team is accountable for executing Customer action plans.
  • Oversee the selection, hiring, development, performance management, coaching, scheduling, and engagement of store Team Members.
  • Fulfill Manager on Duty responsibilities, including coaching, floor and phone management, task assignment and completion, safety protocols, and opening/closing duties.
  • Lead change management initiatives effectively.
  • Promote diversity and cultivate a respectful environment for both Customers and Team Members.
  • Provide DIY services such as battery installation, testing, and wiper installation.
  • Execute and train on project and product quality recommendations.
  • Implement and train on all store operational processes and procedures, as well as testing and diagnostic equipment for DIY services.
  • Manage inventory systems and store equipment training.
  • Recruit, select, hire, and develop high-quality Team Members.
  • Possess a working knowledge of automotive systems, preferred.
  • Communicate effectively in English (Spanish is a plus) and build strong relationships with Customers, peers, and upper management.
  • Utilize Microsoft software proficiently (Word, Excel required) and hold others accountable while providing constructive feedback in an inspiring manner.
  • Have 2-3 years of experience managing a team in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment.
  • Demonstrate successful experience in managing profitability.
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.

The role may involve occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, toxic or caustic chemicals, and electrical hazards.
