Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Guest Service Supervisor to join our team at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Waterloo/St. Jacobs. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer experiences and providing leadership to our front-line staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Services: Assist guests with special needs, ensuring their stay is comfortable and enjoyable.
  • Team Leadership: Coordinate, assign, and review work for our front-line staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Staff Development: Hire, train, and develop staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Operational Efficiency: Maintain the operation of computer systems, equipment, and machinery, arranging repair work as needed to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery.
  • Supply Chain Management: Requisition materials and supplies, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing disruptions to our operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Computer and Technology Skills: Proficient in MS Outlook and MS Excel.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, initiative, organized, and a team player.
