About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Banquet Chef to join our team at Avondale Foodworks Ltd. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences for our clients and their guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution

Develop and execute menus that meet the highest quality standards, taking into account client preferences and dietary requirements.

Culinary Operations

Oversee the preparation and cooking of complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets, weddings, and corporate functions.

Supply Chain Management

Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.

Team Leadership

Supervise and mentor sous-chefs, specialist chefs, chefs, and cooks to ensure seamless kitchen operations.

Client Relations

Consult with clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing expert advice on menu planning and culinary execution.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role

Language

Fluent in English

Work Hours

40 hours per week
