About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Banquet Chef to join our team at Avondale Foodworks Ltd. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences for our clients and their guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution

Develop and execute menus that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation, taking into account the specific needs and preferences of our clients.

Culinary Leadership

Supervise and mentor a team of chefs and cooks to ensure that all culinary operations are running smoothly and efficiently.

Food Sourcing and Procurement

Source and procure high-quality ingredients and supplies to support the preparation of our menus.

Client Consultation

Work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and provide expert advice on menu planning and culinary execution.

Event Management

Assist in the planning and execution of special events, including weddings, banquets, and other functions.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role

Language

Fluent in English

Work Hours

40 hours per week
