Job Summary

McKesson Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounting Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  2. Journal Entry Preparation: Prepare and review journal entries for accuracy and completeness, ensuring that all transactions are properly recorded and accounted for.
  3. Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure that all transactions are properly recorded and accounted for, and identify and resolve any discrepancies or variances.
  4. Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to management on financial planning and budgeting.
  5. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, accounting, and operations, to ensure that financial reporting is accurate and timely.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  2. Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis.
  3. Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  4. Software: Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and experience with accounting software, such as SAP or Oracle.
