Accounts Receivable Analyst
We are looking for a meticulous and driven Accounts Receivable Analyst to enhance our receivables operations. This position plays a crucial role in supporting our financial processes, focusing on collections, account maintenance, and overall assistance to the accounts receivable team. The successful candidate will possess a basic understanding of accounting practices and demonstrate a commitment to professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in overseeing accounts receivable functions, including follow-ups on overdue accounts and aiding in collection initiatives.
- Maintain and reconcile the accounts receivable ledger, ensuring precise documentation.
- Support the invoicing process for operational activities, including generating invoices for services rendered and monthly statements.
- Record and post daily cash transactions in the financial system under the guidance of experienced team members.
- Engage with clients regarding overdue payments, account inquiries, and help resolve any discrepancies.
- Comply with payment terms and adhere to corporate policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the month-end closing activities for accounts receivable, including reconciliation duties.
- Participate in team meetings, providing updates on progress and assigned responsibilities.
- Collaborate with various internal teams across different regions to ensure efficient accounts receivable operations.
- Prepare necessary credit memos, adjustments, and journal entries with oversight from senior staff.
Qualifications:
- Fundamental knowledge of accounts receivable processes and basic accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Familiarity with SAP is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Willingness to learn about taxation treaties, withholding tax, and VAT-related matters.
- Strong time management skills, with a keen attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to shifting priorities.
