Rail and Transit Discipline Lead

Arcadis is seeking a highly experienced Rail and Transit Discipline Lead to join our Mobility Global Business Area in Canada. This role can be based out of any of our Canadian offices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and expertise in rail and multi-modal transit engineering disciplines.
  • Oversee and guide a team of engineers, ensuring the successful delivery of projects related to rail and transit infrastructure.
  • Project management, technical expertise, and collaboration with various stakeholders to achieve high-quality and efficient outcomes.
  • Lead and manage the rail and transit discipline, responsible for the successful delivery of projects and providing technical expertise in rail and transit engineering.
  • Contribute to the improvement of the practice by prioritizing service delivery and client experience while ensuring we have the right team and skillsets to secure new work.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Systems Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience (15 years) in rail and transit engineering.
  • Proven track record in project management and team leadership.
  • In-depth knowledge of multi-modal transportation design standards and regulations.
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain client relationships.
  • Experience in business development and proposal preparation.
