About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Development Specialist to join our team at The North Transportation. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing human resources policies and programs that support the growth and success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Policy Development and Implementation

Develop, implement, and evaluate human resources policies and programs that align with the company's strategic objectives.

Staff Training and Development

Design and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our staff, with a focus on improving performance and productivity.

Performance Management

Co-ordinate employee performance and appraisal programs to ensure that staff are meeting their performance goals and objectives.

Training and Development Strategies

Develop and implement training and development strategies that support the growth and development of our staff.

Staff Supervision and Management

Hire, train, and supervise staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their job duties effectively.

Employee Consultation and Grievance Procedures

Organize and facilitate employee consultation and grievance procedures to ensure that staff are able to raise concerns and issues in a timely and effective manner.

Recruitment and Hiring

Recruit and hire staff to fill vacant positions, with a focus on finding the best candidates for the job.

Coaching and Development

Provide coaching and development opportunities to staff to help them improve their performance and achieve their career goals.

Process Improvement

Propose improvements to methods, systems, and procedures to ensure that our HR processes are efficient and effective.

Requirements
  • Education

A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.

Experience

A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a human resources role is required.

Skills and Abilities

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

The successful candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and will have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Personal Suitability

The successful candidate will be organized, a team player, and have a strong sense of accountability.
